This past weekend, I had the pleasure of shooting Haley and Chad's engagement pictures. Their wedding is in April, and I am soooo excited to photograph it! They are awesome clients and I had such a blast with their session. They came fully prepared with a list of different locations to shoot their session. Did you hear me internet? A LIST!!! I absolutely adore lists...and post-it notes...Oh, how I heart post-it notes. I have at least 2 lists going in my household at all times. Seriously, I love them. I love the feeling of accomplishment I get when I am able to mark something off of my to-do list. Yes, I'll admit I'm a little weird about my post-it and list infatuation, and when I saw their list of locations, I think a tear might have come to my eye! I was so proud of them for putting that much effort into finding the perfect spots for their session. They even found some places I had never seen before. Like I said, they are awesome clients!
We started out at the old Mill and then went to the old ice house, then to behind the Fine Arts Center, and we finished up on a bridge out in the country. They were great and were willing to try anything I came up with. Our session was filled with laughter, and my face was hurting at times from smiling and laughing so much. I choose to believe they were laughing with me and not at me during the times when I talked to myself about shutter speeds and aperture, and as I overcame my fear of heights to get the shots I wanted. I love it when a session comes to an end, and my clients say "That was fun". Seriously, I get the warm and fuzzies. I always hope for my clients have a fun and memorable experience during their session. Thanks Haley and Chad for being such amazing clients!
Oh, and just to let you know. I LOVE the shot of the two of them on the bridge with the heart drawn on the bridge. That description probably doesn't make sense right now, but you will understand which one it is when you come to it. I seriously adore that photo. If it wouldn't be strange for me to have a photo of Haley and Chad smooching hanging in my living room, then it would already be nailed to my wall!
So enjoy looking at your photos Elizabeth. You are so talented! Great pictures of a couple of GREAT young people!
