Connie & Tom

I absolutely love  unique places to have photo sessions.  So, when Connie called and said she and Tom wanted to take photos at their place in the country, I was so looking forward to it.  I have driven by their place numerous times, and have always admired how pretty it was.  Which, take it from me, can be a little hazardous when you are driving.  There is a curve in the road that kind of sneaks up on you when you are looking at their place.  Carson loves their place, too.  Mainly because there is a train caboose on it. He thinks that is very very cool. 

We had our session on Saturday and got some really great shots.  There were so many amazing locations, I could have stayed out there all day.  Or at least until I filled every memory card I own and  ran  my camera batteries down.

Introducing Addyson Grace

Have you ever listened to Paul Harvey and his The Rest of The Story?  Well if so, you have probably noticed that a lot of the most famous and influential people in the world have one thing in common.  They have absolutely amazing stories of their birth or their childhood.  If having one of these unbelievable stories is a prerequisite to stardom or greatness, then Addyson Grace is well on her way to being famous one day. 

At about 2:30 this morning she decided it was time to make her big debut.  When she decided to make her grand entrance, there was no time to get to the hospital.  She wasn't waiting for anyone and entered this world into the loving embrace of her Granddad.  John and I have officially renamed him Dr. Henry.  Now seriously, folks....how great of a story is that?  I am Thirtysomething years old, and I don't have a story even remotely remarkable as Addyson's.  Who knows.  One day when Addyson is accepting the Nobel Peace Prize or winning her first Oscar, and I am toothless, in the nursing home, and wearing tissue boxes as house shoes, maybe this will be the story I tell.  That I took pictures of her on the day she was born!

I went to the hospital to take some photos of little miss Addyson, and I am happy to report that she and her mom are doing great.  She is absolutely adorable and handled her first photo shoot like a pro.  This is a shot from today.  There will be a story about Addyson in the Hamilton Herald News in one of the upcoming issues.  She's already making headlines!

Chastity(Just for you, Toby)

A little birdie told me that you were anxiously waiting to see Chastity's pictures.  Kind of  like a little kid waiting for Christmas day.  So, here are a few of the shots from yesterday to hold you over until I get the rest posted.

 

   

 

 

 

The Cozby's

I had a session with Shawna, Justin and their girls this past Saturday to get some photos for Christmas cards. They are the cutest little family and I have enjoyed watching them grow over the years.  I knew both Justin and Shawna before they were married.....Justin as a skinny little guy with Wranglers and a big cowboy hat and Shawna as the cute little sister of Dee and Neil.  I did Shawna's hair for prom, which might be the first time we actually met.  So, to witness these two individuals grow together, exchange vows, start a family, and raise two of the cutest little girls has been a heart-warming experience for me.  Avery and Ashlynn have been some of my photography guinea pigs since I started out.  When I needed to take some photos for a photography class, all I had to do was call up Shawna.  When I needed to try out my new studio lights, Shawna and Avery to the rescue.  Ashlynn was born after I had started trying to figure all this photography stuff out, so I've had a camera in her face since she was a couple of weeks old.  I am forever grateful for their friendship over the years and that I have had the opportunity to document some of the little moments and milestones in their lives.

Mindi and Chris wedding!
