Lineman for the County

Well,  it's the end of an era.  Many people came to help celebrate Habert Hopper's retirement from the Hamilton County Electric Coop on Saturday.  I still haven't grown accustomed to seeing Habert not wearing his Co-op  uniform; and I still  expect to see  his hand waving "hello" in the windshield of every Co-op truck that I pass.  Carson even associates Habert with every utility truck we see.  He always yells "Habert!"  and has to wave.  Habert has been a fixture at the Co-op for years, and I guess it will take everyone a little time to get used to him not being there.  I wish him the best and I hope he enjoys his retirement.

Everyone had a great time at the party, and I was able to get some snapshots of Habert and his family.
